  1. Could you tell me what two shades of ciele foundation you have. It was too blurry for me to figure out from the video. Thanks so much!

  2. But I wanna look like YOU! I want all the sun damage and freckles and wrinkles and dark circles and redness to be GONE! I’m 72….so what do you have for me that I can ACTUALLY afford?

  3. Skin Preparation (01:57): The foundation of a good look starts before makeup. Dr. Ellis recommends dermaplaning (shaving facial peach fuzz) to create a smooth landscape for product application (02:17). Proper hydration is key, but it’s recommended to skip traditional eye creams under concealer to prevent creasing, opting instead for a lightweight moisturizer or milky toner (03:19).
Sunscreen (04:36): For daytime, applying sunscreen is essential. Dr. Ellis advises letting sunscreen dry for 10-15 minutes before applying foundation and notes that makeup with SPF is not sufficient protection on its own (04:55).
Primer & Foundation (06:58): Primer is optional but helpful for longevity and filling in pores (06:45). For foundation, she suggests lightweight, sheer-to-medium coverage formulas with a radiant or skin-like finish rather than matte, heavy coverage (07:24).
Concealer & Color Correction (12:44): To combat dark circles, use a color corrector (peach/salmon tones) before concealer to neutralize blue or purple tones (12:55). Concealer should be applied sparingly, avoiding the very lower lash line where creases are most likely (13:53).
Setting (16:21): Use a loose setting powder to lock makeup in place, focusing on the under-eyes and T-zone (16:37). She emphasizes using light layers to avoid a cakey look (18:17).
Final Touches (19:23): A setting spray can be used to melt the creams and powders together for a seamless finish (19:25

  5. Can you do a video with low cost makeup? Most of us can’t come close to affording these.
